Elings Park

Elings Park is a 230-acre nonprofit park in Santa Barbara, offering wide-open spaces, scenic views, and one-of-a-kind outdoor activities for families.

While not a city or county park, it’s open to the public every day of the year with free admission.

Families can explore over 7 miles of trails for hiking, biking, and running—perfect for getting active while soaking in panoramic views of the ocean and city. The park is home to a popular playground, a newly renovated tennis center, and open spaces for unstructured play.

Kids will love the unique recreational features, including a BMX track, disc golf course, remote control car track, and even areas for remote control planes and paragliding instruction. Elings also hosts soccer and softball games and offers private event spaces.

Parking

Parking is free throughout most of Elings Park, with a $5 fee on weekends. There’s plenty of space across multiple areas, making it easy to access trails, fields, and activities without a long walk or hassle.
